The brake master cylinder is responsible for converting hydraulic pressure from the driver's brake pedal into mechanical force that is applied to the brake calipers. The brake calipers then squeeze the brake pads against the brake rotors, which slows or stops the vehicle. Without enough brake fluid, the brake master cylinder cannot function properly and the vehicle will not be able to brake effectively.

The 387410104 brake-pump-tank is a right-hand-drive (RHD) part, which means that it is designed for vehicles with the steering wheel on the right side. It is compatible with the following Maserati models:
