The same head designer as for the original Ghost was retained when the model fell due for an update, which was revealed at the 2014 Geneva Motor Show. Better cooling for the car’s massive brakes featured, along with a new steering system, while the seven-speed automatic gearbox was enhanced with Satellite-Aided Transmission technology, which combined GPS data and information about the driver’s driving style to automatically select the optimal gear at all times.
The 6.6-litre V12 engine originally intended for the BMW 7 Series was retained, but a new steering system was developed, and all occupants benefited from redesigned seats with their angles adjusted to make communication between passengers easier.
