The Capristo Sports Exhaust without valves for the Ferrari 550 (Maranello and Barchetta) & 575 (Maranello and Superamerica) is made in T309 stainless, polished steel and is available with 3 options.

The Stage 1 exhaust is a sports rear muffler which gives around 7-8 bhp by itself and enhances the fabulous V12 sound. A gentle big-engined rumble at low rpm that develops into a classic but restrained V12 Ferrari bark when in higher revs. The valves in the system can either be operated by the standard ECU or via an optional remote control system, allowing a choice of volume at the click of a button.

A Stage 2 is a replacement Capristo sports centre section which increases volume all round, yet specifically in the higher revs, this Is because the rear silencer alone tends to become quieter as the revs increase. The combination of stage 1 and 2 can create up to 23 bhp.

A Capristo Stage 3 in addition to Stages 1 and 2 is also available and is a removal of the catalysts. This is very loud and usually only for competition use or on special request.

Made in ultra-high grade T309 stainless steel, the system is also substantially lighter than the stock exhaust and its double-skinned construction and flow capabilities mean less heat is retained within the exhaust.
