McLaren Tuning & Performance Parts

When your stated mission is to produce ‘breathtaking performance sports cars’, you’re going to stand or fall by such claims. But for McLaren, that simple tagline justifiably describes the small number of car models which it has produced since setting out its stall with this objective in 1992 and in the process writing a new chapter in the history of supercars. A series of models has followed, and today, a select group of owners have taken on the responsibility of keeping older examples of the range for themselves and future generations to enjoy.  Our business is to help owners of some of the most desirable cars get the most from them, which includes sourcing the best McLaren tuning parts from the most trusted players in this specialist market. So we work closely alongside reputable manufacturers such as Novitec, and give you a direct route to finding the products from their range which are compatible with your particular car. Since 2009, when company founder Ron Dennis announced that its automotive division would build a new hybrid supercar, the McLaren Automotive division has been kept busy introducing a new car or model every year, starting with the 650S Coupe and Spider.

The current crop of production McLaren road cars is produced by a subsidiary of the group which also builds and operates the famous F1 cars. That subsidiary is called McLaren Automotive, and was established in 2010. In its early days, it was run as a separate company in order to allow it to attract investment from outside parties. As well as its main factory in Woking, Surrey, McLaren has also established a separate Composites Technology Centre (CTC) in South Yorkshire, to build carbon fibre composite chassis for its roadgoing cars. Its current range of cars is split into four tiers: Sports, Super, Ultimate, and a separate level assigned for the GT. The Super line is considered to be its core offering, sitting in the middle of the hierarchy. Of the models on which we focus, the 650S, 675LT, 720S, 765LT and MP4-12C (today known simply as the 12C) fall into the Super series. The Sports range is considered the manufacturer’s entry-level line-up, and features, among others, the 600LT and 620R.
