Out went the sharp angles and pop-up headlights which had characterised Ferraris for the previous couple of decades, and in came a much more rounded, easy-on-the-eye shape, with prominent air intakes and a far higher proportion of glass, giving a much more airy feel to the interior. A six-year production run saw more than 17,500 360s constructed, with the convertible outselling the hard-top.
